8 Questions for Lent
Take these powerful eight questions and make them a part of your daily meditations. You can download a pdf of them here.
- Am I sharing gladly what I have with others, especially the stranger and the poor?
- Do I have a gracious and patient attitude with others, especially those who irritate me?
- Do I feel the connection to God and others in corporate worship?
- How is my prayer and devotional life progressing? Am I listening to God more and complaining less?
- Is it time for a change or growth in my bible study or prayer life?
- What are the lurking sin problems that plague me?
- Am I thoughtful and forgiving of my family and others?
- Do I speak up for the marginal and oppressed or do I remain silent in order to remain popular?

Lenten Notes
The color purple is being featured in the worship center during the Lenten season to represent Royalty. As we reflect during this time, the Lion and Lamb figurine re-minds us of the scripture that HE was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and that the Lion of Judah reigns. Per-haps it also speaks of community as the lamb and the lion lie down together. The spikes on the cross remind us of what is to come as we approach Holy Week
